Pastor Chris Rumfelt has been the Senior Pastor at First Free Will Baptist Church since November of 2005. Since this time the church has grown from a small storefront to a campus with a 1,000 seat congregation with a Pre-K-6th grade Christian Academy and a full-time day care program. Pastor Chris hosts two weekly radio programs and a television program, “Back To Our Foundation.” He also travels and speaks for schools and churches weekly and is the area representative for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Pastor Chris graduated with a B.S. degree in sports science from Mars Hill University and is an avid fan of the University of Alabama Football. Pastor Chris is married to Crystal Douthit Rumfelt formerly of Franklin NC. They have 4 childrens: Braden, Kellen, Calista, and Colter.
 

 

Pastor Kyle Cody has been married to his wife Sally for 13 years.  They have three children: Jacob, Levi, and Malachi, who they consider to be miracles and blessings from God.  Kyle was saved at an early age in Vacation Bible School and answered the call to preach at age 15.  He has been serving in our community since that time in various ways, including working in Public Safety as a volunteer firefighter and Paramedic. Kyle has his Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies and is a trusted medical professional in our community. Kyle came to serve at First Free Will Baptist Church as the Assistant Pastor in August 2016 and continues to be involved in the work at the church, along with Evangelistic work in the surrounding communities.

Pastor Chad Sisum

Lucas serves as the Minister of Music at First Free Will Baptist Church and is also an ordained deacon in the church. Lucas learned to play the piano at a very young age, and has been serving as a church pianist for the past 23 years. Lucas joined the ministry at First Free Will Baptist Church in Hayesville in 2005, but has served in ministry with Pastor Chris Rumfelt since 2002. Lucas is married to Chelsey Lindsey Phillips and has two boys, Callan and Blake.

Victoria Morhardt currently serves as Office Secretary at First Free Will Baptist Church. Victoria is married to Chris Morhardt and has 4 children and 3 grandchildren. Her youngest daughter attends Carolina Christian Academy. Victoria has worked for financial institutions  and housing title businesses for many years, while serving in various areas of church ministry. She enjoys being a mom, grandmother, wife, and most of all serving the Lord.
